- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer referral fees. There are inherent discounts in our fixed pricing because we deliver more than we promise and don't charge for the small things. We are relationship-focused and strive for a long-term partnership.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Kickoff meeting to define and clarify the client's expectations and how their new website should reflect their tone, personality, vision, and business needs. This is usually covered in the couple of phone calls we have prior to kickoff, as well. A kickoff meeting, though, confirms and level sets expectations. 2. Receive all applicable assets from client, i.e., logos, headshots, applicable images that the client would like on the website 3. Develop content and messaging. Content can be written by Lancer Media or by client, or be completed together 4. Design a mockup of the new website including home page and sub-page 5. If SEO is a component of the project, we will research keywords, develop title tags and meta description tags for each page and define URLs. We will SEO all image filenames and alt tags as well as optimize the content of each page. 6. Review mockup with client and make adjustments to it based on their welcomed feedback 7. Code the website in a development environment. Can be on Lancer Media servers or with client's hosting provider 8. Add Google Analytics tracking code (in the event that client does not have a Google Analytics tracking code or account, we will set it up for them) 9. Perform a walk-through of the completed website and make requested edits/changes 10. Publish the website 11. Submit a Google Sitemap 12. Create or update the client's Google My Business (GMB) profile
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have optimized and designed websites for over 20 years. We specialize in WordPress website design but have significant experience with Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, and Bigcommerce platforms. We are fluent in the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We also have many years of experience in the finance and venture capital fields which is why we build websites that are conversion focused. We push for our clients to be ROI-focused. The investment each makes in a website should be just that, an investment. In addition, we have branding experience which is why most clients ask us to write or edit their content. We've earned the distinction of being a Google Partner which certifies us in Google AdWords, that we continuously meet Google's performance standards, show growth in our client base, and participate in ongoing trainings.
