I highly recommend. Yuri has been servicing our tank for a year. We had 6 convict cichlids and a sucker fish before he was able to source some amazing healthy electric yellow cichlids that have grown beautifully. I love the way he arranges plants and rocks as well as it elevates the look of the aquarium. We keep filters in stock usually but on the days we lapse he cleans them out for us and it gets the job done until we can replace ourselves or he drops by again. When we asked him for some more variety he checked and advised us from buying at that time because the availability seemed less than healthy and I appreciated the honesty. There was one time we went away on vacation and came home to find our fish were not cared for as we expected and at some point our compressor failed, I was so concerned about them but Yuri did an amazing job responding right away (although it was in the evening when we arrived) of what to do and what to expect and sure as he said they are still alive and well. He usually sends a message asking for availability so he can take care of service areas at the same time but I feel he is so worth it and his prices are fair especially after considering my limited time to do the job ( and as well as he does) while I still get to enjoy the beauty of my tank. Its embarrassing to post before pictures but I think the afters make up for it.

I was at first hesitant to call anyone out to help me with my fish tank but I called Aquatic Dreams and Yuri came out and was more than helpful and patient with me as I am a first time fish tank owner. He has given me a lot of tips along the way as well! I would recommend this company to anyone.

Aquatic Dreams has been amazing in maintaining and keeping my fish tank healthy. This company is a complete scam. A guy by the name of Yuri was coming to “service” my tank monthly charging on average $120 each time. My fish started dying and when my husband finally decided to open the filters to figure out what was wrong, we discovered that neither of the filters had been cleaned in MONTHS!!! This guy had been coming to my house for SEVEN months consistently and doing absolutely nothing to my fish tank yet charging $120 sometimes more per visit. Honestly it’s disgusting how someone can do this. I sent the attached photo to him and never heard back from him.

Overfeeding is a very common problem amongst many hobbyists. Unfortunately certain people do not take direction well when it comes to guidelines on how to feed an aquarium and the food ends up building up in their filtration and piles on with a mess of sludge as a result. After many attempts of advising this client on how to feed was ignored, there is really not much a service company can do.

Aquatic Dreams never showed for the service. I called the vendor to ask why he was late and he said he was ill. He said he would reschedule, but he never contacted me.

Correction, he never messaged me saying why I was late. I messaged him letting him know I wasn't feeling well and that we need to reschedule. He never responded back. There is an importance in being cautious to not get others sick. Communication is very important. Something that this individual seems to lack.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest that you keep an open mind about where you would like to site your tank. It is important that the aquarium does not sit in front of open windows where direct sunlight comes through or near doors that open or close too frequently for this can stress out the livestock in the aquarium.
