- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?ATS typically charge on an hourly basis due to our customers' needs. This allows for the customer to make changes throughout the process without the need for contracts to be amended or re-written. Also, each customer can decide how much of our services they wish to include, i.e., site visit and design, permit application and submittal to governing body, site visits during construction, etc. This allows the customer the opportunity to save money on activities that they choose to do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially we meet with each new prospective customer to see if we are a match and that the project is within our scope. Secondly, we set a time to return to the property to take the necessary measurements and gather any information that the owner may have regarding their property. That information is then transformed into the necessary documentation/drawings and submitted to the customer for their approval or change requests. The final step is the drawings are sent in PDF form to be submitted with the permit application.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Brad Freson has a master’s degree in business from Regis University. Brad Freson has also been involved in design since 1976 and has mentored many in the process of design and not limited to the individuals in his employ.
