- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are less than places like carpet exchange.I might not be the cheapest price in town. But I guarantee my work and I guarantee you won't have any problems when I'm done.I have endless references and years and years of beautiful job photos of all the floors I've done over the years.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically I make contact,I have my flooring associate go to the customers house and show them samples of flooring they showed interest in and measure the job, then I give the customer an estimate including the price for material and labor. When the customer wants to move forward I collect 50%doqn and I order the material.once we have a delivery date for material we can schedule the install date for after material comes in.We move and cover furniture w plastic. We do the demo, then take the base off, take toilets off,and remove vent covers.prep the floor. We have 16 inch floor sanders.i like to sand the subfloor to ensure a smooth floor.thwn we lay the floor.after that we put everything back together, clean up,clean floor, and then after the customer says there happy with the job we collect the last 50% of the bill.ove
