FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually start with a simple get-to-know-you. If we're going to train together, it's useful for us to know what motivates you, what you're in it for, and what concerns you may have going in. This step can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 6 hours, depending on how open everyone's feeling. Once we're confident in how to proceed, we'll run an initial physical evaluation to give us an accurate picture of where we're starting and how to set realistic goals. This step will also guarantee a much lower risk for injury and will serve as a 'jumping-off-point' of sorts for the program! After that it's down to business! We're never limited to one style of training, so we can always adjust our approach, even after we've gotten started! We'll work together for the most organic and comfortable path to your goals!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The head trainers at Really Personal Training, Alex and Haydn, have been learning and working together for over 5 years. They both graduated with degrees in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in 2014, and proceeded to achieve certified-status as ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologists soon thereafter. For over a year, Haydn worked for renowned Longmont training club Fitness 19, while Alex applied his expertise towards creation of a mobile fitness app. Now, recognizing the importance of a personal approach, Alex and Haydn have founded Really Personal Training. Seeking to create the most personalized, hands-on experience in the industry, we hope to show people that it's not what you do, but how you feel while you do it that counts!
