FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a base price for painting and designing a mural of $500. The prices after that goes from $25 a square foot and lowers as the mural grows, however, never less than $15 a square foot. Details of the design and machinery needed to complete the mural are also considered when deciding the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I like to get an idea of what imagery the client is drawn to and get an idea of what they are hoping to accomplish in the mural. Once we have decided to move forward I take a small deposit and create small sketches of options for the mural design. The client can then narrow down their favorite(s) and we mock up images until the client is totally satisfied and ready to execute the mural. A contract is written and a larger deposit of half the cost is taken when the mural is begun. The final payment is taken upon completion of the mural.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am formally trained artist with a BFA in painting, and have now working on many different levels of murals. My fine art practice is often on large scale pieces.
