Thank you so much Janet! 😘 I’m so glad you found the information helpful and Im looking forward to making Takota and Lilly more confident. A dog’s quality of life is just as important as our own. You made my day, thanks!!
Scott was awesome. He rearranged his schedule to meet with us and gave us several tips we could implement right away. Thank you!Feb 20, 2020VerifiedK-911 Dog Training, LLC's reply
Thank you so much Tara!! I’m looking forward to our next session! 😁
Prompt, friendly, informative response and ongoing communication. He's a joy to work with - and our dog loves the training sessions! We're learning (dog and humans!) so much from Scott. It's obvious he loves dogs, and has found his calling (!). Highly recommended.May 12, 2017Verified
Both my husband and I were extremely happy with Scott. He made us feel at ease right away. We have a five year old female Chocolate Lab who has been attacked by dogs and it hasn't been easy to find someone who was able to help with solid first steps to getting our Luna less fearful. This will take time and we are committed with Scott that he is the one who can continue to "train" us and help get our girl relaxed and happy. If you are looking for someone who has the training, skills and expertise then Scott is your trainer! We look forward continue working with him.Jan 17, 2017Verified
Scott was very thorough. He took the time to get to know our dog's needs and after provided us with lots of resources to take care of them. We are very satisfied with his service.Apr 7, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most importantly, clients should be informed that uncertified trainers, of which there are many, charge similar or larger fees for services which sound similar but actually involve punishment based methods which can cause current problematic behaviors, or the fears causing the behaviors, to become more intense, increasing not only stress on their dog but also their own legal liability. My fee includes the training consultation or board & train using positive methods, along with a detailed write-up with training plans geared towards continued progress. All board and trains include one free 1-2 hour transitional training session. All B&Ts, training sessions and behavior consultations include continued access to me for free follow-up questions via email, text, or phone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Before any training begins, I ask that the guardian fill out a standard questionnaire form so that I can best meet their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?10 years of experience at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley including years of experience as a Training and Behavior Consultant in the Training Center. I have a certification in training and consulting through the Jean Donaldson Academy for Dog Trainers. This academy is designed to be a two year program which not only provides instruction in basic manners training but also provides an intense focus on the most current behavior modification techniques, with regular testing and guidance from an accredited animal behaviorist.
