Introduction: I changed careers from technology to food because of my love of cooking for people! After leaving my job at a Fortune 500 company in New York, I backpacked around the world for a few months. I realized I was most happy when I was able to share the food I cooked with the fellow travelers. Food led to conversations, story-telling and long-lasting friendships.
I love that food not only nourishes us but it connects us all on a deeper level. Through my catering and cooking classes, I hope to bring joy to people and help them connect and share with families and friends.
I grew up in India where spices and fresh vegetables are front and center of our daily lives. Due to my background, my focus has always been on not only cooking healthy but also flavorful meals. I received my culinary degree (with honors) from Auguste Escoffier School in Boulder. I have worked in popular restaurants such as Leaf and Brassiere 1010 in Boulder. I was the onsite taco truck operations manager at Comida (based in Denver and Longmont) and have successfully lead various small and large catering events such as birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, etc.

Shrutikas skills exceed far beyond food preparation. Yes, she is very talented at cooking a wide array of international meals and desserts. Every thing I have tasted that she has prepared is simply mouth watering! To top it off, she uses organic and very healthy ingredients. I leave feeling well fed and completely delighted.
Having the aptitude and insight into cooking is wonderful; however, Shrutika brings much more insight to the table. Because she has a technology background, she is analytical and methodical. The combination of her cooking abilities and efficient nature is a great recipe for a fantastic entrepreneur. I have found that Shrutika organizes and plans everything to perfection. Plus, she is friendly and so much fun! I cant imagine anyone being disappointed hiring Shrutika for catering, cooking classes, or any services she provides.

I have had the good fortune not only to taste Ms. Troup's delectable creations, I have experienced her uncanny attention to detail and dedicated work ethic. Another talent she possesses, in addition to preparing delicious food, is to capture her culinary art on camera making it look delicious while maintaining its artful design.

We hired Shrutika to cater my husband's birthday party at our home. She made 8 entrees that were easily passed (carrot-ginger soup shooters, pulled pork sliders, etc.) and 2 desserts. The food was INCREDIBLE - all of our guests raved about the quality of the food - truly restaurant gourmet quality. She brought a server with her and the evening went very smoothly. Shrutika is very professional, fun to be around, and a fantastic chef.

Shrutika was the chef for a friends birthday dinner party and the experience from start to finish was amazing! Every course was beautiful and delicious! The night was an unbelievable culinary experience! I would highly recommend Shrutika!!
