The legal representation was fine. They went over my retainer by $1200 without telling me, though. I didn't like that. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.Apr 12, 2016VerifiedDanielsen Westhoff, PC's reply
Brent, Thanks for the review. We send bills out at the end of each month so that clients know how much is in their retainer. We can also send out mid-month bills, but typically only do so if clients request it as our billing software makes that option difficult. Sorry that this caused you inconvenience. Karli Danielsen

Was very empathetic to my difficult situation and knowledgable. I feel Karli went above and beyond to help me, and I truly appreciated that.Aug 5, 2016Verified

I had to hire a family law attorney for a matter last year. I chose Danielsen Westhoff because they were both reasonably priced and came recommended from a friend. I am so glad that I chose them to represent me in my legal matter. Karli was very responsive to my questions at all hours of the day and helped keep me calm in a very stressful time in my life. I would highly recommend her for any family law related issue you may have.Feb 13, 2016

I've worked with both Daniel and Karli in the past and felt comfortable talking with them about very personal and confidential matters. They have a way of making you feel at ease and explaining the law in an easy to understand way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a family law attorney.Feb 12, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? In most cases, Danielsen Westhoff charges a retainer for legal services, with some exceptions to this. The amount of the retainer depends on the complexity of the case, but we have found that in comparison to other attorneys in the Denver metro area, our retainers rank among the lowest. We bill against the retainer at our hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a new client contacts the firm, we talk with them immediately over the phone about their case and determine whether we need to meet with them in person to go over Court documents. If the client needs to come into our office to meet, we will typically schedule them within a few days of our initial phone conference and we will spend an hour with the client going over the specifics of their case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All the attorneys at Danielsen Westhoff, PC are licensed to practice both in the state and federal courts in Colorado.
