What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For youth sports photography, I have a one-page order form with 55 products. For weddings, there are two options. Both include coverage of pre-wedding, wedding, posed group pictures and reception. 1) The customer gets a copy of every image on CD; 2) the customer gets #1 PLUS a wedding proof book with 70 to 100 4"x6" prints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mainly by reading magazines.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been self-employed and a photography business seemed like the natural progression.
