Inspector Magic did a wonderful show my 7 year old daughters birthday. We had nearly 20 kids and he them all enthralled in minutes.

Great party, all the kids loved the show (and so did the adults!). We had around 16 6-7 year olds running around, but once the show started they were all enthralled and thoroughly entertained for the entire show. Also great ending with each child getting their own balloon hat to take home.
I would definitely recommend Inspector Magic.

He was early, entertained the kids during dinner, taught them some tricks, and then put on a great show that was wonderful for all ages (young as 2 up through adults!) about being a hero and following your passions. It was great for our Cub Scouts, but it would have been great for any group of kids! Highly recommend!

We celebrated our son's 5th birthday with Mark performing the Treasure Hunt Magic Adventure in our home in Colorado Springs. He arrived at the scheduled time and started his show immediately after set-up. We had 14 kids ranging from ages 4 to 12, mainly younger kids. The kids were not sure and very timid at first but quickly warmed up to Mark. The kids were laughing and rasing their hands to volunteer every chance they got. My son loved the special attention he got from Mark; he was able to choose friends to volunteer and enjoyed the gear, a magician's hat and wand during the show. The kids enjoyed the entire show, and Mark also threw in some humor for the adults making everyone laugh! Quality of work was awesome! He handled the kids well and kept them in order. My son gets very excited and can be a little hyper, but Mark assured my husband it was ok. He handled our son very well which in turn made it very fun for him without having to correct him every few minutes. I would definitly recommend Mark for a child's birthday party. This party will be unforgettable for my son and all his buddies!

Our family has a special Christmas celebration this year with Inspector Magic's show performed in our home here in Canon City. Everyone has a fabulous time from 8 months old to 93 years old. The kids were engaged including our 36 year old soninlaw. A super time to make memories. Thank you Mark!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES! To avoid becoming "dated," magicians need to be inspired and rework their shows constantly. Some have been doing the same show they did 20 years ago, with the same jokes that are no longer that funny. The best way to stay creative is attend an intensive Magician Convention. These 3-5 day events include performances by the world's best magicians, lectures, contests, and mingling with like-minded performers. This past year, Inspector Magic attended conventions in Ohio, Buffalo, Providence, Cape Cod, Dallas, Fort Collins, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. He is the Soceity of American Magicians' Annual Convention Registrar, currently working on the July 2012 Convention in Las Vegas that will honor David Copperfield. He is the Co-Chair of the 2014 Convention wich will feature the North American Championships of Magic.
