About
Welcome! A little about your potential future teacher/tutor. I have 9 years of experience in education and during that time I was named Teacher of the Year and District Teacher of the Quarter. My goal as a teacher/tutor for each day is that each of my students not only learns but that they enjoy learning. I want my students to know they are capable of accomplishing greatness. What I love the most about teaching is seeing my students have that light bulb moment. Every student deserves someone who will never ever give up on them. They deserve someone who will believe in them and show them that through hard work and determination that they can become the best versions of themselves. I refuse to leave any kid behind, no matter the challenge.

Mrs. Hensley was my son Lukes teacher. She helped him develop a love for reading, skills for decoding, and helped me advocate for his needs when he struggled! She is amazing! I highly recommend placing your childs education in her able hands!

Mrs. Hensley was my youngest child's 1st and 2nd grade teacher. Her love and spirit are still felt 4 years later. My baby still talks about what a great teacher Mrs Hensley was. Her passion for the kiddos can be felt when talking to her. She was the teacher who pointed out that my child may need extra help. I appreciated her candor and honesty with this matter, she laid out a plan and explained that it didn't mean my child wasn't smart, but that we needed to pour a little more into her. That's love. That's the teacher you want in your corner.
