What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We prefer to charge Time + Materials as this gives us the most flexibility on-site to accommodate unexpected developments or for you to add on tasks, though we are happy to provide a fixed rate for a variety of projects. We typically charge labor by the half hour, half day, or full day with reduced rates for longer engagements/bigger projects. We charge materials at cost + procurement time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are happy to provide free "good-faith" estimates over the phone with adequate information provided (pictures are great!). For a detailed, written, on-site estimate, please expect a $75 fee that may be used as a deposit on future work.
