HELLO THERE! I’m Elizabeth…
I love being outside, adore my morning cup of tea and can’t watch scary movies because I’m a scaredy cat. I’m a climber, a lover of road trips and my least favorite flavor is licorice. I am an introverted person—and the best way for me to break out of my shell and get to know people and make friends is to make images. I shoot mainly digital photos but I still shoot film frequently and will jump at the chance to add it into your shoot if time and light permit. I like that it is slower and more thoughtful. It gives me time to really get to know who I’m photographing and make sure that their light shines through in my work.
I have been shooting weddings and family portraits for almost 10 years now. People are my passion. I love the chance to spend the day with a couple in their purest moments of joy or to spend some time with a family, documenting the fleeting youth of children as they play. People are ever fascinating and I am so grateful that it is my job to document them. My goal is to capture the little in-between moments that come and go so quickly. The moments you will want to hold on to—and to make sure that the photographs I take feel the way you want to remember them.

Eliza did an amazing job for our maternity shoot. She helped us choose the location as we wanted something outdoors. It was quick, easy, helped us with posing and made us feel comfortable. I’d definitely hire her again.

Eliza is amazing! She was right on time, very patient with me and my whole family, and made the experience of taking photos so much better than I ever could have imagined. She got some amazing shots of all of us during the ceremony and took even more great photos of us after. I loved how they all turned out! Having family photos done for the first time can be intimidating, and Eliza was quick to recommend a location based on what I was looking for! I have two toddlers and she was so unbelievably patient. Very responsive, punctual and quality pictures. We did not end up with all the shots we wanted, but you can never be too optimistic with kids and photos. There were a lot of us!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For me--General cost is $100 per hour. I do offer discounts for customers who have been referred by another or for returning customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet up with my clients, get a good feel for their wants and needs for their project as well as their personalities. I want my work to reflect the customer as much as possible. Bring their vision to life. I often have my clients fill out a short questionnaire as well so that I can start to get a feel for what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for Professional Photography as well as 5 years working for a photo lab/studio in Austin. I am very familiar with file set up and efficient work flow to make sure the client gets their files quickly and easily after their shoot.
