I offer a sliding scale, please contact me for more information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Book a complimentary 30-minute consultation to talk about your goals, ask questions, and discover whether Ello Cello is the right fit for you. There's no obligation or pressure—just a friendly conversation to help you take the next step with confidence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the cello since I was nine years old, beginning in 1990, and earned a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016. During my degree, I studied cello with Dr. Charles Lee, principal cellist of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. I have more than 20 years of experience teaching music and have taught private students in cello, violin, viola, piano, music theory, and early music education. I also have extensive professional performance experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral cellist, and freelance musician. I have performed with community and professional ensembles, including the MSU Denver Symphony Orchestra, and have worked as a cellist and musician for private events and theater productions throughout the Denver area. I've also performed with bands in a wide variety of styles, including blues, bluegrass, singer-songwriter, experimental electronic, and indie rock. This broad musical background allows me to teach students not only classical technique, but also a wide range of musical styles and interests.
