FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a sliding scale, please contact me for more information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally start with a 30 minute consultation so we can chat and see if we are a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing cello since 1990 at age 9, and earned a Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance in May of 2016 from Metropolitan State University of Denver where I studied under Dr. Charles Lee, who has been principal cellist of the Boulder Philharmonic orchestra since 1998. I run a successful music studio, teaching private lessons in cello, violin, viola, piano, early music education, and music theory; am the co-owner/business manager and cellist for the Mile High String quartet; and contract freelance projects in all genres of music and theater. My past playing experience consists of solo and chamber performances, participation in several community orchestras including sitting principle cellist for the MSU Denver Symphony Orchestra. My contract work includes private events and theater productions throughout the Denver Metro Area. I have also played cello and sang with many local bands in genres including blues, bluegrass, singer songwriter, experimental electronic, and indie rock.
