Ross is fantastic at focusing on details and support. I love that I can text him and ask questions even on days we don't have lessons. It makes the service feel more personal and catered to me. Ross's experience shows and his passion for music is definitely there. My only gripes are: Some lessons can feel pretty repetitive especially at my beginning level (that's expected, though) Notes about each student could be taken better. Sometimes it feels like he forgets what exactly we're working on from the last week. but overall for the price, the service is definitely worth it. Very happy with my progress and motivation since.

Out of several teachers I contacted, Ross was the only one to suggest an initial phone call to talk about my goals. It is incredibly important to me to have a teacher who takes the time to listen to my current situation and goals, and Ross excelled at this! My first lesson with him was extremely productive, fun, and encouraging. As someone working to get over the "self-taught intermediate slump", Ross has already been a huge help. I look forward to more lessons with him!

I’ve spent the better part of 20 years playing guitar, but never took any lessons around theory. I’m now into week 5 of bass lessons with Ross and I’m already connecting dots faster than I ever did practicing / reading on my own. It’s worth your time and your attention to learn how to play better, no matter where you’re at in your musical journey, and I can say finding Ross has been one of the defining moments in mine!

I love my lessons with Ross! I have been playing guitar for many years, and I have very specific qualities I am looking for in an instructor. Most importantly, I am looking for an instructor that listens to me and works a lesson plan around my musical goals. Ross does this very well. His grasp of music theory is excellent and he is able to teach theory while making it interesting. He listens well, communicates well and is very encouraging. I'm sure he is quite capable of teaching beginners as well, but I highly recommend him as an instructor for intermediate/advanced guitarists.
