FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clear menu pricing: Most small jobs start at a $149 trip minimum (covers the first hour and typical materials). Larger tasks are quoted flat-rate after we see the scope. Bundle & save: Book two or more services in the same visit—say, faucet swap + TV mount—and we take 10 % off the smaller task. Half-down deposit for bigger projects: Anything over $1,000 (roof sections, deck rebuilds, panel upgrades) requires 50 % down to reserve materials and crew. Financing available: Prefer to keep cash on hand? Ask about our 0 % short-term or low-APR plans—no hard credit pull just to check options. No surprise fees: Ladder charge? Disposal? We spell it out before you sign.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Quick chat or photo share on Thumbtack so we understand the task. 2. On-site inspection—usually within 24 hrs. Our tech walks you through fixes, materials, and any code issues. 3. Same-day written estimate (good-better-best options when it makes sense). 4. Approve & schedule: pay the trip minimum or deposit / pick financing. 5. We get it done: most handyman repairs = same day; multi-trade jobs (roof + gutters + paint) in 1-3 days. 6. Photo walk-through, clean-up, and warranty docs before final payment.
