- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I have standard prices that I quote along with my recommendations at the end of my first meeting with my client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet to discuss their circumstances and wishes at no cost or obligation. That meeting usually takes about an hour. At the end of the meeting, I explain all their options, discuss my recommendations, and explain the cost for the different options. The client can decide right then what they want to do or think about it and contact me later. After we have agreed on what needs to be done, I draft the necessary documents and send them to the client by email or mail. We then make any needed changes and meet to sign the documents with witnesses and a notary. I get paid after the documents are completed and signed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Prepare wills and trusts to carry out your wishes. Prepare financial and medical powers of attorney to protect you and your family in case of disability. Represent personal representatives and trustees in estate and probate administration.
