Dana is a fantastic Massage Therapist! It was easy to book and set up an appointment with her online. Her space is located within a medical center and is both comfortable and professional. I greatly appreciated her attentiveness during intake and genuine and comforting energy in applying various techniques and tools throughout the massage. Afterwards I felt the best I have in a long time. Dana is obviously very passionate about her practice and helping people and I look forward to booking again!

From day one Dana has been an excellent therapist, both attentive and inquisitive to my needs. Communication has always been affable, which adds to the efficacy of the massage. If you are looking for a knowledgable and thorough massage therapist you are in the right place.

Massage Therapy

I can’t say enough about my experience with Better Being Bodywork. Every day for weeks now, I’ve had to put on a tough face- walk upright, and keep straight while my body would do everything it could to fail me. I was exhausted and nearly spent. Just this one 90 minute session… I feel completely recharged. Nearly all of my pain points have gone and I feel like my old self again. BBB took her time to really identify my problem areas and then expertly resolve them. I couldn’t be more grateful, and I will definitely be returning.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $100 for 60 min. and $150 for 90 min. Ioffer a 20% discount for first time clients from Thumbtack! If you know you will eventually purchase more than one session, I offer 3, 5 and 10 packs at a discount (details on the Better Being website)

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start each client with a personalized intake (written or online) and of course have a conversation in-person about health history and goals. Oncology and Manual Lymphatic Drainage sessions consist of a more thorough intake.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Myofascial Release, Thai Table, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Scar Tissue Work, Oncology Massage, Visceral Manipulation. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (movement studies specialization) from Western Washington University, went to Discovery Point massage school, 200-hr Yoga teacher training and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I'm a total anatomy nerd!
