Introduction: I am a full-time performer and private lesson instructor. My wide-ranging professional experience in multiple styles on multiple instruments as well as my varied teaching experiences have given me a very open-minded approach to music and instruction. My approach to teaching is to help students define and achieve their goals through inspiration, joy, and exploring new ideas. I teach guitar, acoustic and electric bass, ukulele, and beginning mandolin and banjo as well as improvisation for any instrument.

Gary Sloan has a passion for music I have seen in only a few since I began my musical journey. I have had a few formal and casual lessons from him, which have helped me tremendously. Gary Sloanâs been my ukulele instructor for over a year.
