Thanks!Jan 3, 2019Verified
I am working with Faith to get in shape for my upcoming wedding. She is absolutely amazing! I hate working out but I actually look forward to my sessions with Faith! She is incredibly smart, knows all about physiology and the workouts she has you preform. She is always on time, never in a hurry, flexible and professional. Faith tailors my workouts to my abilities and body and explains the why. I would recommend her to anyone a million times over!!!Aug 21, 2019
Faith tailors workouts to your strengths and is encouraging while pushing you at the same time. She is considerate of complications (I have Asthma and Tendonitis) and alters workouts accordingly while still making them challenging enough to have an effect.Jan 30, 2019
Faith has transformed my workouts. I am stronger, more powerful and can see the change in how I look.Nov 29, 2018
Faith prepares innovative workouts that are unique to me. She challenges and encourages equally so I leave knowing that I really accomplished something.Nov 30, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For one-on-one training, the 3-month hourly rate is $70, the 6-month $65, and the 12-month $60. For couples training I bill each session as 1.5 hours at the selected membership rate: thus 3-month rate would be $105 ($52.50 ea), 6-month would be $97.50 ($48.75 ea), and 12-month would be $90 ($45 ea). Small group training pricing is a flat-rate, except there is a $5 per hour discount if signing a year-long contract. -groups of 3-9 individuals is $30 a head -groups of 10+ individuals is $20 a head
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My main focus for new clients is to establish a starting point based on his/her previous experience and current ability level. I see myself as equal parts trainer and educator and so usually going back to basics regarding form is key! Once we've established a good starting point, I typically program by month and choose different aspects to focus on including, but not limited to: volume, power, cardio-respiratory endurance, athletic-style training, functional movement, etc. The main focus points are mostly based on what the client is wanting to work on specifically as well as what I as the trainer think is important based on movement/strength evaluations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have my master's degree in clinical exercise physiology and also have the ACSM Health Fitness Specialist certification as well as a certification to work with adaptive populations (those with spinal cord injuries, neuro disorders, etc). I have worked as a personal trainer for the able-bodied population including weight loss, athlete training, etc for about 5 years and also worked as an adaptive exercise specialist for about a year and a half at an adaptive recovery center. I also worked as a swim coach for 2 years.
