Steve did a topnotch job, grinding down three giant juniper shrub stumps. He fit me in quickly, communicated clearly, and made all the arrangements to verify the location of utility lines. His high-quality equipment and an excellent customer-oriented service made short work of these much hated stumps.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Premier Stump Grinding to remove multiple tree stumps that were downed trees from a tornado. I found my experience exceptionally good, and I wanted to share. Steve’s professionalism was evident from the moment he arrived to give me an estimate. Quite a few quotes were given to me in the aftermath of the tornado and many of them were verbal and not as nearly as professional. First and foremost, what stood out to me was Steve’s detailed approach and sending us written estimate. He took the time to thoroughly assess the scope of the project, ask questions, providing me with a comprehensive breakdown of the costs involved, and even made sure I called to have the utilities marked before work started. This level of communication, transparency, and attention to detail instilled a great deal of confidence in his work before the work even started. On the day of the work being done, I was impressed by the meticulous attention he paid to protecting my house during the stump removal process. He brought screens to shield the windows and prevent any debris from causing damage. This level of care and consideration for my property was truly commendable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am the premium option. I am going to show up to your house fully insured with the best equipment to get the job done correctly and efficiently.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will communicate with you the entire way through the process. As soon as you text me pictures of the stumps I will send you a formal estimate. As soon as you accept the formal estimate I will call 811 to submit the request to have your utility lines marked. As soon as that is done you can kiss your stumps goodbye. I will be out there to remove them and make your yard beautiful and more safe.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) in Computer Science and Business Administration. I ran a successful painting business in college and have always loved working with trees, chainsaws, and power equipment.
