FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am not going to be the cheapest but I can promise I will give 110%. Built into my pricing is the knowledge and tools I bring to every job and I guarantee all my work! My prices are competitive and hourly. A lot of stylists/makeup artists charge one price per service. It makes no sense to charge the same for a style or look that takes 15 mins compared to a style that takes an hour. I make sure that I’m working as efficiently as possible and make every second count. I also will work within a time limit/budget. If a bride wants a 15 min makeup application and a 15 min hairstyle to stay within a $50 budget, I will accommodate. I always ask for pictures beforehand incase the desired look requires practice on my own time to ensure I’m working as efficiently as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The consultation is critical. I always take extra time with new guests and/or existing guests wanting a change. Pictures are a great tool. I ask guests to show me looks they like and don’t like. I will always give my honest, professional opinion. Getting to know the guest; their lifestyle, future plans, past experiences, any and all info helps me to determine the best plan for that individual.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
“Evolve or dissolve” “If you do anything excellent do everything excellent” said by Lucas Doney at a recent training I was at in Nashville. As a National Educator for Paul Mitchell I am required to attend 2 advanced trainings a year along with continual online E-learning platform lessons and this is one of the many reasons why I love working for this company! They are education leaders in our industry! I have a manikin head at home now that I practice on weekly. In my bio I mention many of the great artists that I’ve had the pleasure of working with backstage and the numerous places I’ve traveled to receive these trainings/classes. I will never stop learning as long as I can work!
