About
You’ve got ideas, and maybe even a dream, on how things SHOULD work. And they aren't playing out that way! You know you need help, but even figuring out the best help — or the priorities among the many challenging things — can feel overwhelming. You’re not behind; you just might need someone to help you detangle the path among the many noble trees in the forest.
At Rock Forward LLC, I help people start or fix small businesses using real tools, real structure, and real empowerment. I also support clients with practical computer skills, tech-curious questions, and project management basics so your ideas actually move forward.
I’ve worked across business, nonprofit, and startup spaces and learned this: you need down-to-earth advisors who meet you where you are, focus on realistic wins, and keep business from feeling punishing.
If you’re ready to stop circling the same ideas and challenges and start building a better reality, let’s talk about your next smart step.

Working with Ellen at Move Forward, LLC was a fantastic experience from start to finish. She’s not only highly organized and communicative but also brings a calm, confident presence that keeps everyone focused and on track. One of the most important factors in the success of any project is having a strong project manager—someone who can anticipate roadblocks, adapt to changing needs, and make sure that all the moving parts come together smoothly. Ellen does exactly that. Her ability to understand both the big picture and the finer details ensured that our project stayed aligned with its goals, timeline, and budget. If you're looking for someone who can bring clarity, structure, and steady leadership to your work, I highly recommend Ellen and Move Forward, LLC.

Move Forward LLC was very responsive and considerate of my concerns. They truly treated me like a partner, which unfortunately is hard to come by these day.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to always start every project with a quick win, as there is ALWAYS a quick win - and I am good at identifying them. Since documentation and accountability systems are huge beliefs of mine for successful projects, after our first call, I will provide you with a plan - a $ 500plus-value document that, if you just follow it, is worth $5000+ even if we never meet again. It quickly gets us on the same page, allows the project to have a frame, and allows good juju, I guess is the word! Good juju is a good thing! :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a first meeting call. Maybe 5- 10 minutes to decide whether to move forward. We will schedule a kickoff call after that. You can preempt this by providing specifications or notes in advance, or by doing a brainstorm session. Either way, I'll provide a $500+ value proposal specific to your project, what's on the plate, what's not, and out-of-the-box "have you considered" ideas. It may include much more, but these are the minimum, along with a next-steps schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA and 30 years of hard-knocks business experience working in high-tech corporations of all sizes. Most of my work was in engineering. As CEO of my own company for 13 years, I wore many hats, which fast-tracked me into strategic optimization and keeping the bottom line in mind at all times.
