What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to always start every project with a quick win, as there is ALWAYS a quick win - and I am good at identifying them. Since documentation and accountability systems are huge beliefs of mine for successful projects, after our first call, I will provide you with a plan - a $ 500plus-value document that, if you just follow it, is worth $5000+ even if we never meet again. It quickly gets us on the same page, allows the project to have a frame, and allows good juju, I guess is the word! Good juju is a good thing! :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a first meeting call. Maybe 5- 10 minutes to decide whether to move forward. We will schedule a kickoff call after that. You can preempt this by providing specifications or notes in advance, or by doing a brainstorm session. Either way, I'll provide a $500+ value proposal specific to your project, what's on the plate, what's not, and out-of-the-box "have you considered" ideas. It may include much more, but these are the minimum, along with a next-steps schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA and 30 years of hard-knocks business experience working in high-tech corporations of all sizes. Most of my work was in engineering. As CEO of my own company for 13 years, I wore many hats, which fast-tracked me into strategic optimization and keeping the bottom line in mind at all times.
