I recently hired Chaverst Contracting for a massive overhaul of my home, and I couldn?t be happier with the results. They tackled renovations for three bedrooms, two closets, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and my basement. Basically transforming my entire house into something straight out of a dream. From the start, their team was professional, communicative, and detail-oriented. They listened to my vision (and trust me, I had a lot of ideas!) and offered smart suggestions to make everything work even better. Do not hire this company. Carlos is a nice enough guy but the people he has doing the work are not skilled. It took them 16 hours to do a 4-5 hour handyman job. They didn’t arrive on time, with the correct tools, or the right supplies. Had to make multiple trips to Home Depot. The work performed was sloppy and they made a mess (caulk dried into our carpet and no tape on any painting leaving white paint on our red front door, weather strip, and floor). Our front door still does not close properly after they “fixed” the framing. We will have to redo all the work they did, costing us additional money in supplies, not to mention time. The list of sloppy work is too long to post. We were not happy with any of the results. Update: the reply below is inaccurate. We removed part of the scope (painting our front door and shutters) but had already paid for it all up front, so we had them do a few other small projects (i.e., caulking, adding 2x4's around fireplace, and fixing column on front porch) to replace what we had already paid for in advance. It did not increase any time needed to complete the project since part of the scope had been removed. The weather stripping was new and added by you so not sure how it already came with white paint on it, as well as the paint on our front door and floor. It was not there prior to you painting, so you stating it was previous paint is inaccurate.
