Another disappointing experience using Thumbtack to find help for our bathroom backsplash project with Alphas Granite. We connected with this contractor through Thumbtack and he initially seemed reliable—he came out last Saturday, brought a quartzite sample and confirmed it was a match for the job. Installation was scheduled for Wednesday between 3–5 PM, but no one showed up. After I reached out, I was told there had been a fender bender and the material may have been damaged. We were then rescheduled for Saturday at 8:30 AM. Saturday came and went with no arrival, no call and no communication. I followed up again this morning around 8:50 and still have not heard back. At this point, we are back to square one trying to find someone dependable to complete the work. Very frustrating experience and not what we expected when hiring through a service meant to connect you with professionals.

Alpha Granite installed granite with a seam on a large island. Not only did they do an amazing job, but the seam is barely detectable if you are looking for it. They do great work and are very professional!
