Introduction: Hi everyone, I'm Allen. I've been a LMT for over 10 yrs. My approach with massage is medical based, I like working on people who have problems such as.. limited range of motion, muscle tightness, joint pain and postural distortions. I'm not here to rub backs, I want you to reach out because you need me not because your free on a Saturday and a massage just sounds like a nice relaxing thing to do. Also, I do not travel unless it's for a group sessions(multiple sessions at one time) and nothing further than 25miles, if I do it's $100 upcharge, no negotiating (because I have back to back sessions at my office, if I travel to you, you are paying me for my time period!). With that being said I'm also Graston Technique Certified and have my Personal Training Certification through NCSF. So I can create value in more than one realm. I want to help you operate at your peak level as much as possible. I'm also and avid gym rat, who's obsessed with pushing himself physically and can pinpoint areas of distress because I know the primary areas that are going to be worked the hardest. But with that being said I'm experienced and understand everyone has different needs and I want to help anyone I can under whatever capacity that's necessary for us to obtain your goal. MY SCHEDULE IS PACKED, SO UNLESS YOU CAN BE PATIENT AND CAN SCHEDULE A MASSAGE, THEN I WONT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU! Otherwise, once you schedule something with me there is a $25 deposit to hold the appointment time slot, the $25 counts towards the total of the massage, once the massage is completed then you just pay the remainder balance for the session(non negotiable). Sorry to do this.. but too many people have wasted large amounts of my time making a request and then bailing cause they got someone quicker. It's very unprofessional to request a therapist and drop them the same day because you found someone sooner, we depend on these sessions to pay our bills. Now with that being said I have met some amazing clients through thumbtack and I'm very thankful for every client I have met on Thumbtack, I just refuse to tolerate behaviour that doesn't reciprocate full appreciation of my efforts, nobody should.. Now offering Couples massage with a female therapist who is a phenomenal deep tissue massage therapist as well!

We asked Allen to come to our house for a spa night, and he kindly organized another therapist to come along and provide massages two at a time. Communication was easy and he and his colleague arrived right in time. I had my massage with Allen and it was one of the best I’ve ever had - I like very deep massage and not everyone can get down in there how I like it, but Allen was fantastic. I felt great afterward and could still feel it a couple of days later. Great value, terrific massage, and all around a very good experience!

Very good deep tissue massage. I hadn’t had a massage in over a year and a half and my back was tight as a drum. Very good massage and I would definitely recommend Hands if Stone’s skills if you would like a good deep tissue massage.

Allen is very nice and perfect for what I am needing. I workout a lot and get muscle tightness often so I need deep tissue. He has strong hands and really worked my knots. Highly recommend if you like deep tissue!

Allen is really good at what he does. I have a very big problem with knots in my shoulder, neck, plus an old injury that causes some issues around my hip area. With the deep tissue massage he does he was working out my shoulders, neck and hips. Walked in all stiff and tight walked out feeling light and relaxed. Professional and friendly. An honor to meet! Definitely going back.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
so through my rates they will stay the same but I do still offer other skills with massage as well. - Graston incorporated with massage - $55(on top of massage rate) - Graston technique (alone) - 30min. for $120 - Graston Technique (alone) - 60min. for $210 - Cupping incorporated with massage - $30 - Cupping (alone) - 30min. for $65 - Cupping (alone) - 60min. for $100 - Stretching incorporated with massage - $40 (on top of massage rate) *for a travel fee of $25 I will travel upto 20miles with out charging extra, anything after that because of the time it takes me to do other appointments I will be upcharging $100 for anything over 20miles absolutely no negotiating.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally would like to meet beforehand, just so that way it gives the client the opportunity to see the quality of person before making any concrete decisions. but I also know how busy we all are, so if meeting in person is just too difficult to manage then Im fine with doing a phone call or face time so that we can introduce ourselves and have the chance to chat a little before moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a LMT, who has his Graston Technique specialist Certification and I am also personal training Certified.
