The main valve to the sprinkler system was leaking under my house. Marvin arrived quickly the day I called, and fixed it in under an hour. I was very happy about that! I was charged an awful lot for the job, even using their $55 off coupon. It cost far more than I expected for a new valve and labor. My receipt isn't broken down by cost of part and cost of labor, but checking prices for valves, their labor fees are huge.

Tried to get an estimate from these guys, they turned up late, said they'd match another quote I had, then about 15 minutes later drove off without telling me anything. I wouldn't use their services based on how they go about providing quotes!

I had a plumbing problem in my bathroom. Before I chose this company I had a number of different options but I decided to go with them. The crew arrived an hour late from appointed time. After checking the work they have realized that it needed to be fixed right away they gave me a very high price. When I told them that I couldn't pay that much they cut the price in half which still was very expensive. , they told me that water in the drainage line was backing up and it is not part of the plumbing cost but they fixed it and added an additional charge. The plumber Mr. Tim Ashfered was well experienced and did a good work. However, I'd like to suggest to this company to revise their working approach and ethics.

I will have our Service Manager follow up with you to see if there is anything that we can do to leave you feeling better about your experience with Mr. Rooter. Thank you for your feed back, we truly appreciate it.

We were originally quoted $99 for unclogging our toilet. When the serviceman came to our house, he said it would likely be over $500 instead. He explained it was because he needed to be insured to take the toilet off incase any damage occurred. My husband removed the toilet, saving us nearly $300. The serviceman attempted several different plumbing tools, but couldn't find a clog in our toilet. We were charged $205. I asked for a break down in our receipt, as without a clog, I wasn't sure what we had paid for. The itemized receipt said "Additional labor for unusual drain cleaning conditions per half hour"...which didn't tell us anything. He set up for his supervisor to return the following morning at 9am to come with a camera scope to see what the problem was, since there was no clog to be found. No one showed up the next morning. After waiting over an hour, my husband called Mr. Rooter, who said they'd call the service man and find out what was going on. Called us back and said he'd had an emergency and wouldn't be able to make it. Rescheduled for the following day. My husband came home early from work to make the appointment, however again, no one showed up. After an hour, we called Mr. Rooter and they again said they'd call us back with more information. Called us back, said the service man was stuck in traffic, downtown Denver, but was still on his way. After several more hours, and no one showing up, we called Mr. Rooter again. They again, called the service man and when they called us back, apologized as they couldn't get a hold of him. I called several times attempted to speak with a supervisor to get a refund...as they had charged us $205 and nothing had been accomplished as no clog was found, my husband removed the toilet himself and we were no-show/no called twice for a supervisor to come out and scope the pipe to investigate what the problem was. After 3 days of back and forth phone calls, demanding a refund, I finally spoke with someone yesterday who said she would refund it and to expect it to take 5-7 business days to return to our account. I would definitely NOT recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone after this experience.
