I have a very keen eye for the little things, and a refined palate to compliment your event. I think outside of the box and adore a project that makes my client stand out. I always take into account a budget plan, and respect wishes of who I am serving. With over 15 years in hospitality, I am ever growing and learning. I don't like to use the word expert as it would imply I know everything, and to know it all really is impossible in the food and beverage industry. However, I am very close! I am educated in all types of wine, spirits and beer with a rich background consulting on menus and pairing. Something I focus on is small producers and sustainable practice. I also have a network of the countries top ambassadors in beverage. Making people happy. Plain and Simple. I also enjoy educating and turning someone on to something new.

Deidre provided bartending service for our son's wedding celebration. She was very professional, punctual, had a very nice set up, very easy to work with and willing to help come up with drinks for our guests. We provided the alcohol and she was helpful with ice, cups, and made a special mimosa float which everyone loved, and also came up with non-alcoholic drinks that were very tasty. It was important to me that i delegate and not worry about anything during the party, i was able to visit with our guests and enjoy our party with Deidre's help. She not only served our guests drinks but went the extra mile to help with anything else that was needed. Our guests loved her and everyone commented on how great she was and what a great idea to have someone at our party.

Deidre and the other bartender were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, including recommendation for various spirits. My guests were very pleased with the service and said the bartenders were very good.

Deidre with Drinks, Darling did an amazing job at our party. Folks kept asking me "where did you meet her"? She was so friendly and welcoming everybody thought she was a friend. She helped us out in many ways (pouring drinks, keeping everything picked up, helping with the last push to get the dinner ready to serve and then helping to clean up after). We really enjoyed meeting and working with you Deirde!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing really depends on what you need from me. I am totally willing to work with in your budget!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a feel for their personality, likes, dislikes. A discussion on theme is important, and a bit of brainstorming if needed. Of course, budget is an important conversation: what is your budget, how many people, what other details do you want me to assist with?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with running successful beverage programs in Kansas City, Crested Butte, and Chicago, I stay current on industry trends through seminars and travel. I also am TIPS trained and Basset Certified. I studied at Le Cordon Bleu for hospitality, and mixology. I also am a member of the USBG and the Court of Sommeliers.
