About
Local Electric is a family-owned Colorado electrical contractor built on craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the job right the first time. We’re your neighbors—not a franchise, hedge fund, or private-equity roll-up. Just a local family and a team proud of the name we work under. We take ownership from start to finish, communicate clearly, continually sharpen our craft, and work to leave every customer and every job better than we found it. Whether it’s a service call, repair, upgrade, or larger electrical project, we bring the same standard: quality work with no shortcuts.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Skylar at Local Electric. We started a renovation with other contractors/an electrician that was unprofessional, disorganized, and unreliable.Insert Skylar, our hero. Not only was he able to fix errors from our prior contractor, he was sooo kind, efficient, and skilled. The lights, outlets, switches he installed all work amazingly and he finished the job incredibly fast. Prices were also affordable. We cant recommend this place enough!!

My service time was 7:30-8:30, Skyler showed up at 7:40 . Wow, normally you're waiting all day for any kind of home service. He tackled my electrical nightmare with gusto, sympathy and a level of humor that was much appreciated. Skyler is a very nice young man that exhibited a professional and upstanding demenor that enabled me to feel comfortable with him in my home , like a friend I just hadn't met yet. I am extremely elated with his workmanship, and would 100% recommend him for all of your electrical needs. Clear Creek County is lucky to have a local company with this man on their staff . Thanks again Skyler.

We recently had a home generator installed with a heavy duty stand and transfer switch by Local Electric. Everything was installed including electrical conduit and wiring, as we planned or even better than planned, in an excellent workmanship and quality methods. The two electricians, Skyler and Josh, carefully and methodically routed the wiring so to prevent bends and least amount of wall cutting in accessing the main electrical panel. They were very professional, conscientious and knowledgeable, and assured everything was done as perfect and neat as possible. They also intently paid attention to any concerns we had and did what they could to alleviate them up front and to our satisfaction. Fantastic crew and company to work with, we highly recommend them for your future electrical needs.

Great owner and great employees. Josh at local electric bailed me out of a previous generator install with a brand new Kohler. Very clean install. Generator works like a charm.
