Mallorie was our wedding day saving grace. Our day-of coordinator had to back out a month before our destination wedding in Colorado. Our planner connected with Mallorie and she just so happened to have our date available. She was immediately on it - she got caught up to speed so quickly and was a great communicator on all details - huge advantage when dealing with any vendor, especially a day-of coordinator, as this individual needs to know your expectations inside and out. I immediately felt confident in Mallorie - her tone and demeanor made me feel as if she had been planning my wedding all along and knew it was going to be perfect. This is exactly the attitude and character you need before/on your wedding day. When our wedding day came, there was not a beat out of place, thanks to her oversight. She was running the show with confidence and kindness - not ordering people around, but orchestrating each party to their proper place. Her spirit is light-hearted and her smile is contagious. Mallorie is the best coordinator out there and I would know I am one! I live in Australia and am having a wedding in Colorado next July 2020. Needless to say it is really hard to plan a wedding across the world and with the time difference. Mallorie has been amazing with emails, FaceTime meetings and doing all communication with my vendors as I can only email them, she calls them and does all the planning and scheduling of meetings for me for when I am back in December. She is also willing to do any planning meetings for me and meet with vendors while I am unable to be there. She takes the time to understand her clients and their vision and is making it happen! I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding, whether you just need help day of or are like me and need help throughout the entire process! You will not regret your choice!Sep 7, 2019
We were thrilled we hired her as our day of coordinator. Our wedding unfolded into several levels of chaos as a freak mountain storm destroyed the ceremony area, followed by half the seating. Mallorie worked tirelessly to alter the ceremony plan and then rearranged all the seating to accommodate our guests during and after the storm to make the night a wonderful one we will never forget. The guests didn't know of the seating alteration and we didn't know about all the moving parts and the seamless changes until after the wedding. Mallorie's hard work and good attitude was exactly what we needed to make the best night of our lives run smoothly despite the crazy Colorado weather. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love to sit down with my clients and really get to know them, their vision and what they need from me as their coordinator! I know how important a wedding day is and I want to make take the stress out of their day and make it everything they imagined and more!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 10 years of experience in the wedding and event industry. I spent the last 7 years planning and executing all weddings and other large events at The Boulder Country Club as their Catering Director. My reviews through the country club speak for themself. I am extremely detailed oriented and have a knack for creativity to help keep my clients in their budget and still get the event they dream of.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I always knew I wanted to own my own events business, so I started from the bottom and moved up to get all of the experience I needed! I began as a server, moved to manager and then spent the last 7 years working every event at The Boulder Country Club. This is something I absolutely LOVE doing and will continue to do so for a very long time.
