Owner Mandan responded within minutes of my inquiry in Thumbtack. We quickly agreed on a time for him to move some furniture into a PODS unit. Although the move was small, it involved stairs and some heavy furniture, so he brought Anthony with him. They arrived on time and, after surveying the job, went to work. We provided moving blankets, tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and an art box for our mirror. The day prior Mandan had recommended having a 4-pack of ratchets available at Home Depot, so we had those, too. They brought the furniture upstairs from our lower level and, despite a stairwell with a landing and having to carry through our house, walls & house were left undamaged. Out on the driveway they wrapped each piece of furniture securely in moving blankets & shrink wrap and boxed up the large mirror, taking care to protect its ornate corners. They loaded everything in the PODS unit, then secured it for multiple days on the road. And did a superb job of assuring me that everything was secure by testing it in front of me. Mandan even fit in a quick return for an item I’d forgotten to mention. Magic Movers has earned this 5-star review. They are polite, thoughtful, careful, responsive, and stay in touch. I highly recommend them.
