- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in the process of obtaining my Bachelor of Music with a focus on Cello Performance. My training in cello includes, but is not limited to: - Private study with Dr. Gal Faganel (former principal cello of the Phoenix Symphony, professor at the University of Northern Colorado), Dr. Jonathan Spitz (principal cellist of the New Jersey Symphony, professor at Rutgers University), and Mr. David Short (Freelance cellist) - Member of the Front Range Youth Symphony, Denver Young Artists Orchestra, and Brevard Concert Orchestra - Coaching in chamber groups under Dr. Susannah Chapman (professor at Rutgers University) and Dr. Anne Lanzilotti (professor at the University of Northern Colorado) - Performed under conductors Dr. Russell Guyver (University of Northern Colorado), Dr. Wes Kenney (Colorado State University, Fort Collins Symphony), Maestro Ken Lam (Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Symphony, Maestro Christopher Dragon (Colorado Symphony), and Maestro Keith Lockhart (Boston Pops), amongst others
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing cello from the 5th grade and have since branched out to performing and teaching. My first performances were for volunteer church events, and I have since played at funerals, weddings, opening receptions, and charity events, among others.
