- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Colorado Homes Construction offers free estimates. We genuinely enjoy working with our customers and believe good communication is just as important as quality craftsmanship. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As a rescue contractor on HGTV, we have seen the financial and emotional toll homeowners face when a contractor disappears, leaves a project unfinished, or delivers subpar work, so we strongly encourage homeowners to do a little homework before hiring anyone or paying for a project. Before signing a contract, verify the General Contractor’s license with the appropriate city or county and check that it is current and in good standing. Ask for a current Certificate of Insurance and verify that the coverage is still active. A reputable contractor should be comfortable providing this information. Taking a few extra steps before construction begins can help protect your home, your investment, and your peace of mind.
