Nothing complicated - it's just an hourly rate or a project fee, depending on the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nothing formal, but absolutely yes. There is a large, vibrant community of online marketing pros like myself who have meet-ups, share ideas on blogs, Twitter, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell into it. I started working for an Internet advertising company in 2006, and at that time (much as it is now), the industry was wide open. After working exclusively on my own sites for about 2 years, we started accepting clients. We still work on our own properties, however. That's a big part of our business.
