I have been a property manager from the first house that I purchased. Now we are up to 6 units that we personally own. From day 1, I tried to run those projects like a large professional manager. Then I realized I was doing it BETTER than the professional managers I interviewed to manage my properties for me! When I liked working on my properties more than the Fortune 500 corporate job that I was a manager at, I knew it was time to transition to owning my own company. Now with Property Management Inc - PMI Elevation, I am able to help other investors achieve their financial goals. And helping protect and grow another investor's assets and talk real estate investment is what really brings me joy. I also enjoy playing outside with my 4-year old son and 2-year old daughter and spending time with my wife in our Colorado home. We have been in Denver for about 12 years now and we love it. We take every opportunity to get outside as much as possible. We love to ski...well not the kiddos just yet, hike, and travel up to Summit County as much as we can. I am a huge gardener as well. Each year I go crazy and plant at least 50 different varieties of veggies on top of the orchard that I am attempting to grow. It is a very peaceful activity for me and it gives me time to think and recharge.

So far, so good! Recommended by a family friend.My experience with this property management company has been very positive so far. When I first reached out, the owner, Jim, quickly scheduled a walkthrough at my house. He explained the process thoroughly, followed up by email, and answered all of my questions. The front desk has also been very responsive, both by phone and email, whenever Ive had followup questions.Shortly after deciding to go with PMI, I scheduled photos with their photographer, Andrew, who was pleasant, professional, and did a great job capturing my property. The company was able to find excellent renters before my lease start date and within my target rent range.My property manager, Tristian, has been professional, supportive, and relatively quick to respond to any concerns. Since I was still living in my home at the time, I opted for agent showings, and coordinating them went smoothly. The online portal can be a bit confusing at first, but Tristian and Vanessa were great at walking me through it.Ive now had tenants in place for about a month, and so far everything with them (and PMI) has been going smoothly!

PMI Elevation offers competitive pricing. We are able to lower our prices because we utilize the best and most advanced software technology platform to manage your property. You will have full access to all of your property financials as well as any maintenance requests tied to your property. We can have you as involved in the process, or as distanced from the process as you choose. We can offer deeper discounts to property owners that have multiple units as well, so please tell us about your entire portfolio and we can design something to fit your investment strategy.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At PMI Elevation, we sit down to discuss your property and investment strategies. We will then develop the best plan and scope of services to fit your needs and your tenant's needs. Once the plan is finalized, we begin to transition your portfolio into our management system and create online portals for you and your tenants to automate the entire process including tenant payments, maintenance requests, and advertising your property to the widest range of potential tenants. We quickly get you set up to automate your real estate investments to become truly passive to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner of PMI Elevation, Jim Shonts, is a fully licensed real estate broker in the State of Colorado. Jim is also a member of the National Association of Residential Property Manager (NARPM). Randall Henderson is the employing broker of Property Management Inc. in Colorado. Jim Shonts is an associate broker working with Randall Henderson. Randall is also the Executive Vice President of Residential and Commercial for the PMI corporate franchise. Randall built and runs the comprehensive online and in-person PMI training platform, and has personally trained over 300 aspiring entrepreneurial franchisees. A serial real estate entrepreneur himself, he has owned and operated many industry-related businesses in the areas of property management, realty brokerage, investment, and land development. Prior to PMI, Randall developed and taught a real estate lecture series, and was a sales trainer for a Fortune 500 company. Randall has a degree in mathematics from Brigham Young University.
