Introduction: I understand that some people learn better with different teaching methods. Some learn by sight, some by writing, some by listening, and others by example. By finding that right method and integrating it with good note-taking and time-management skills, I strive to make learning something other than a "chore". The thing I like most about tutoring is seeing my students work hard at something and then having it pay off. I want to be the one to help make those 100% test grades happen.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer the first half hour of tutoring free, because I think it's important to find a tutor that fits with your learning style. After that it is $15-20/hour depending on the subject matter. If the full hour isn't used, the cost will be prorated.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people want a tutor for a specific number of hours on the same day(s) every week for basic learning and help with homework. I have also helped students study for major tests, and students that just need more practice to really understand the material.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It may take a few tries to find a tutor that fits with the student's learning method, and that's ok. Everyone learns things a little differently. Most of all - don't go for the tutors that just do the problems for you; you won't know anything when the test comes.
