About
OGS Electric is a licensed, electrician-led contractor specializing in residential power resiliency across Boulder County and the Denver Metro area. With recent wind-related shutoffs and grid instability from Xcel, more homeowners are realizing that backup power is no longer optional. We design and install structured resiliency systems built to perform when the grid goes down. Our work includes Tesla Powerwall 3, SolarEdge and Enphase battery storage, critical-load and whole-home backup systems, hybrid battery and generator solutions, professional load calculations, load management, load shedding and load balancing integration, panel upgrades and service replacements, EV charger installations designed around real panel capacity, and solar troubleshooting and system rescue. True backup power requires more than installing a battery. It requires proper panel evaluation, intelligent load control and clean, code-compliant integration with your home’s electrical system. We are electricians first and we evaluate the entire system, not just the equipment being added. We are not structured to be the cheapest provider. We are structured to install once, install correctly and stand behind our work. If you are looking for a professionally designed resiliency solution, we are ready to evaluate your system and provide a clear path forward.

Amazing, professional, good pricing and fast! What more could you need. These are the people that you want doing all your electrical work. They replaced a full outside electrical panel with all new breakers. Did a quality job and even gave us a free upgrade and kept the same pricing. Amazing honest company with good pricing.

OGS Electric's reply
Thanks Rachel! It was a pleasure working with you and we’re so glad we could help bring your ideas to life, even the ones that started as just a general outcome! Looking forward to helping again in the future!

Very pleased with everything. They were professional, did an amazing job, polite, cleaned up before leaving, and charged exactly what they said they would.
Lucien was absolutely fantastic to work with! He showed nothing but pure mastery of his trade. We hired him to install a new circuit for an EV charger, and he completed the job exactly as he said he would. He explained everything clearly beforehand, and his knowledge and attention to detail were impressive. He was meticulous in his work and made sure everything was done to a high standard. I would highly recommend Lucien to anyone looking for an experienced and reliable electrician!
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free estimates for all projects. If work falls under time and material billing, we’ll give you a clear idea of what to expect upfront. We're typically very accurate, and if anything changes, we’ll communicate early and work with you to find the best path forward. We believe in transparency — you’ll never be surprised by a bill.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by understanding your needs through an initial consultation, often done remotely to save time and costs. For the right projects, we offer remote assessments to provide accurate quotes and guidance. Once the scope is clear, we deliver a detailed quote and timeline. Throughout the project, we prioritize clear communication and transparency so you’re always in the loop.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our leadership team brings nearly 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. Our electricians are skilled across a wide range of services, including custom new construction, remodels, solar installations, generator systems, and battery backups. We also provide solar consultation services, helping homeowners successfully complete their own solar projects with expert guidance.
