- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Introductory offer includes 2 - 45 min. private lessons for $90 ($160 value) Other discounts offered through private lesson packages and group class membership.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially new students will be introduced to one of 2 dance of their choice or recommended by their instructor. A few basic figures and fundamentals will be taught and expectations revealed over the course of the first few lessons. After which those that wish to continue will be expected to be able to dance some basics for a dance or two at an acceptable level by the end of their first package. This will establish the common core values that will be needed to progress further into what most would consider good dancing at a social level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15+ years of extensive training for competitive and social dancing from coaches from around the world. Standard practice and syllabi provided by organizations such as the NDCA, USISTD and Dance Vision. Dances include the 4 primary competitive styles and nightclub dances recognized by most partner dance organizations. This includes what we call American Smooth & Rhythm, International Ballroom & Latin, as well as nightclub and country dances. All in all we teach 30 different dances total. Certification training, testing and registration with the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) as a professional ballroom instructor.
