- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have some general rates, but prefer to chat with the client about their budget and needs before committing to some pricing. Because everyone will have a budget in mind and different needs, I am attuned to accommodating nearly every budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I'm starting a project, I love to get to know my client. I am genuinely interested in helping them re-vamp an existing project (web site, logo, etc.) or my favorite: starting a brand identity (logo, website, stationery, etc.) from the ground up! I love working with and for small businesses. I love to get references for style. That could come in the form of descriptive words or images. Some of my clients even put together Pinterest boards with their preferred color schemes or other elements!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Black Hills State University in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota in the Media Arts department. I gained employment in graphic design while attending school, and was able to work myself up in the industry, first, by designing advertisements for the Rapid City Journal (newspaper), then became a Marketing Assistant, Advertising Agency Creative Director, and ultimately started my own business. I have had Zooma Design for over 16 years and counting! I am blessed to do what I love!
