Laura is great! Worth every penny and then some for her horseback riding lessons!!! I have so much fun while learning all the wonders of horses and communication with them!!! I can't wait for my next ride!!!
This is an amazing barn with amazing people. Jackie, the group of clients, and the instructors love to have fun with horses while improving riding skills. This barn will meet your every need. If you want to be competitive in the show rings, they can prepare well for that. If you want a laid back environment that is not all about everyone one-up-ing each other, you will find Lynchland is a refreshing place to learn. Jackie Lynch knows her stuff with horses and you can be assured that all horses are well cared for! Come join the Lynchland Family!
My work with Megan was as one of her instructors in her credential program here at the Foundation for the Equestrian Arts. I was one of her professors, and also supervised her as an instructor when she was working in the riding academy here. Megan is a dedicated professional, she's an experienced rider and trainer, and a scholar of the art of riding. Yet she's also very down to earth, not 'full of herself' as so many riding instructors seem to be. She is as comfortable executing the highly focused movements of haute ecole, piaffe, passage, flying changes-- as she is enjoying a day on the range rounding up cattle for branding with family and friends. It's not about the tack! It's about the tact. She's funny, focused, and very well educated as a riding instructor, and highly skilled as a trainer. Megan's warmth and empathy helps riders feel safe to make mistakes, and she is skilled at helping sort out the mistakes toward a more and more balanced and connected riding experience. The seatwork alone would be worth the lessons, but along with the balance, Megan's teaching develops the rider's ability to improve the horse through the intelligent use of the classical art. Megan Rau is both intuitive and intellectual, and she's a lot of fun to be around, too. I highly recommend Megan Rau Classical Horsemanship.
I love riding with Sarah. She has helped me grow as a rider so much more than any other teacher I have had and I’ve only been riding with her for a few months. Her teaching style is amazing and super easy to follow. She always punches you to do your best and conquer anything that is making you nervous, while also being supportive, kind, and patient. Best riding instructor I’ve ever had.
I personally have used Michelle to ride horses out, both seasoned and fresh. She is very patient and knowledgeable in all aspects of the horse. My expectations are always exceeded!!!!!!!!
Katie amazed me from day one with her knowledge and understanding of horses, patience with questions, and the effort she puts into fully interpreting and explaining horse behavior and effective riding/training techniques. I have learned more in 3 sessions here than I have in almost a year of work at a highly esteemed barn. I cannot give enough praise to Katie's care, compassion, and genuinely good attitude toward both her horses and her clients.
My son Cody (8yrs old) had the best lesson ever. He love the horse and listened better than I have ever seen. I will bringing. Him back for more lessons.

Here at Windy Acres we pride ourselves in Resistance Free training, giving horse horse and rider the best possible relationship and outcome in performance. We have worked with trainers including but not limited to Mark Rashid, Jim Masterson, Richard Shrake, Jay Barnett, Bonnie Minor, Janie Hoit, Lisa Eid, Laura Amandis, and Stacy Westfall. I love watching horse and rider combinations grow as a team through the stages to become very successful in whatever direction they wish. I often see positive personality changes in teens especially with troubled pasts. It is always wonderful to hear how parents see positive changes in their children after working with horses oer a prolonged period of time.
My work focuses on the independence and self-advocacy of the student. Whether through writing, reading comprehension, competitive riding, or horsemanship, my goal is to shape my students into independent thinkers, so that they may ignite their own love of learning, discover their passions, contribute to an ever-changing global society, and champion their own beliefs in the world. I love working with people. I love problem solving and seeing people come into their own once they discover their own abilities and passions. I love helping people understand their own individual way of learning.

Personality and Affordability: Our tagline is "Helping Horses Help People" and we do our best to honor that. All our staff members are skilled and professional, but have vibrant personalities because it's important to have the most fun possible while learning a new skill. In a line of work that tends to be cutthroat and competitive, it's very important to keep the clients best interest as top priority. Prices for training, lessons, and equine maintenance are always kept affordable so that clients are only spending what they need to spend and not break their wallets. The most rewarding part of teaching people to ride horses is watching students learn something new. Most of the time when a lesson is being taught, a trainer is on the ground teaching it and are only using words, gestures, and analogy's to relay what needs to be done. When a student is able to master something new without seeing it being physically demonstrated we know we're doing our job well. Besides that, being outside in the elements working with animals, meeting new people, and collaborating with other trainers is also really fun.

We offer riding lessons and introduction clinics for all ages, plus horse camps. Summer horse camps are for ages 8 to 14, where a camper gets his or her own horse for the week and has 2 riding lessons daily. They really learn lots of riding skills or improve those they already have. Our "Little Buckaroos" summer camps are for ages 5 to 7 and are for 3 days per week, with riding everyday.
Fair Mountain Stables Riding Program, I board, train and give riding lessons. I have 40 years of experience in the equine arena. I am a 4-H leader in the equine project and have had a 4-H club for 30 years. I am a very laid-back person and easy to get along with, but safety around horses is an absolute. I have taught all ages, from 5 to 50. I love English and Western and have wonderful school horses that can make you have a great experience learning how to ride. I became a professional trainer to help people transform their lives, and I want to see you accomplish more than you can on your own. It is difficult to find the time and motivation, so I will push you to accomplish your goals. It is my life and I want to share the equine experiences with all of those who are interested in the Sport of Riding and learning how to care and handle horses.
My work focuses on horse and rider only. I can understand a horse and see what they are feeling. There is a connection between horse and rider that is very strong. I have done research on horses for years and gone deep into thier history from the beginning, indians, and to today. I love working with all types of horses and people. I feel like I can be anything and do anything when I am helping others bond with thier horse and make thier dreams come true.

Cornerstone Farm is committed to offering top-notch English riding education in small, focused classes. Our goal is to assist people in maximizing their love for horses and riding by constantly enhancing their knowledge of horses and riding ability, conforming to the classic horsemanship principles. A proper position in the saddle produces an effective and strong rider, so we put equal importance on control and position. Our method to flatwork includes basic dressage training: horses are ridden forward, with suppleness, rhythm, and balance. This foundation permits us to jump under control and safely. At Cornerstone Farm, we specialize in bringing along green horses correctly and slowly. We're also available for problem solving or boosting the training of a competitive horse. In addition, we can provide exercise riding or maintenance for schooled horses, and can exhibit horses for owners at local competitions. For riders who do not own a horse, we have school horses available which are willing and sound. They vary from ponies to thoroughbreds, guaranteeing the right mount is on hand for riders of every ability and age. Students riding school horses join in saddling and grooming, and should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to starting your lesson, and stay for 30 minutes after every lesson to properly care for your mount.
