- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer an short introductory lesson for free so that we can get to know each other, talk about your goals, and decide what you'd like to do with lessons. 30 minute lessons are $30 45 minute lessons are $35 60 minute lessons are $40 Lessons are discounted $5 if they are at my studio or virtual lessons
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each student is different, so we begin by assessing where they are. For absolute beginners, we'll start learning basics of the violin and reading music and work towards playing songs as quickly as possible. For experienced students, we'll look at what they've already played and what their goals are, then jump right into working.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been studying the violin since 2003 and teaching private students of all ages since 2010. I have a master's degree in Orchestra Conducting from Colorado State, where I studied conducting, violin, and viola, and a bachelor's degree in music from Missouri State where I studied violin, piano, and composition. I've studied music in professional classes throughout the U.S., and in London, Beijing, Bulgaria, and Montreal.
