FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I predominantly work with interior designers, providing premium installations for their clients. However, my skill is just as useful installing budget window coverings. It's ironic, but affordable window coverings can sometimes be the hardest to install, requiring a great deal of attention to function properly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I remember when my father asked me to install draperies that he purchased at JC Penny. I had never even noticed draperies at the time, and agreed to help him. To my dismay, I had a horrible time! I didn't know what a pin setting was, I wasn't familiar with drywall anchors, I didn't know about pinching the pleats of the sheers so that they would traverse properly, and I didn't have any tools to apply the finishing touches. I've always been a handy guy, but my father eventually hired a professional to do the finishing touches. I remember despising the entire day that I spent trying to install those drapes. I told myself I never wanted to install again! But, life gave me a second chance at window coverings and I've found my niche. Long story short, hire a professional and you won't be sorry.
