Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I provide a niche service, providing quality window covering installations. What sets me apart from the competition is my ability to get the job done, even under difficult circumstances. For example, when a product isn't ordered properly, I can cut it down, or modify it to work in a window where otherwise it would have to be returned and re-ordered. In addition to making installations successful, I pride myself on providing the best possible installation no matter what the product is. It's amazing what a little steam will do to a budget roman shade. It's even more spectacular to see a pair of tall silk draperies perfectly dressed out and tied back. Like many trades, the installation is a major part of the product. If it's rushed or done sloppy, it doesn't matter how nice of a product it is, it won't look good. North End Interiors makes every job look great. I love having an outlet for my attention to detail. Often window coverings are the last step in a remodel, and it's very rewarding to see a home owner go, "wow!"

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I predominantly work with interior designers, providing premium installations for their clients. However, my skill is just as useful installing budget window coverings. It's ironic, but affordable window coverings can sometimes be the hardest to install, requiring a great deal of attention to function properly.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I remember when my father asked me to install draperies that he purchased at JC Penny. I had never even noticed draperies at the time, and agreed to help him. To my dismay, I had a horrible time! I didn't know what a pin setting was, I wasn't familiar with drywall anchors, I didn't know about pinching the pleats of the sheers so that they would traverse properly, and I didn't have any tools to apply the finishing touches. I've always been a handy guy, but my father eventually hired a professional to do the finishing touches. I remember despising the entire day that I spent trying to install those drapes. I told myself I never wanted to install again! But, life gave me a second chance at window coverings and I've found my niche. Long story short, hire a professional and you won't be sorry.
