We are a husband and wife team who specialize in photographing and creating videos of weddings and engagements. Amy very much loves photographing families, maternity, newborns, and real estate. Josh is very creative and skilled with landscapes, events, real estate video, and branding/product photography & video. Between the two of us, we can capture a LOT in less time that just 1 photographer.
We believe in capturing these moments for you so that you can revisit the happiest moments of your life. These are candid, raw moments that we can tastefully capture for you. We operate in a playful approach using prompts instead of posing! Posed photos can be awkward. We love candid moments, genuine tears and laughter! We know our way around the Western Slope of Colorado because both of us grew up here. We are skilled, ready, and have a quick turn-around time for finished product!

Amy was able to do our engagement shoot with less than a weeks notice and met us in Ouray. She was always super responsive and helpful, went above and beyond what we had agreed on, and the photos came out great!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer payment plans and require a retainer when you book. The retainer is non-refundable if you cancel, but it will be applied to the remaining balance. The remaining balance is due at or before the session. I accept cash or card (deposits taken online require card). I also have gift cards for prints available, and gift certificates for session fees which is a great item to add to your registry!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to schedule a free in-person consultation before each Wedding or at the very least, video chat. Let's meet for coffee or ice cream, and together we can build a vision and plan for what suits you and your fiance. I will explain everything and answer all FAQ's. We don't just "shoot and burn". Our packages include more than just digitals. We are providing a service, and in order to do so we need to collaborate together :)
-Family and Newborn sessions can be planned via phone call/messaging. We can collaborate clothing, location, and color schemes together.
I do require a contract to be signed before each job, and this is when I also collect the retainer of $500- $1,000 for weddings. $50 retainer for all other photo sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are both self taught, but have had a passion for photography for a lifetime. One thing led to the other, and practice makes perfect. Internet tutorials and private groups played a tremendous role in learning from the best of the best world-renown photographers. Amy also has a background in business/accounting/retail.
