We are so glad we started working with Niamh. She is sincere in her deep care for pups, and has a depth of experience to help guide you through what to and what not to do depending on your goals for your dog. We recently got a puppy that we are committed to only using positive reinforcement with. We were feeling very overwhelmed with the volume of training perspectives and strategies out there. She met with us, taking the time to get to know us plus our dog. We came away from that session with a training plan for this immediate puppy stage, and know we have her continued follow up and support as he grows. took We have big plans for the dog our puppy will grow into so that he can have safe adventures with us, and feel confident with Niamh's help we will get there!

We so appreciate Niamh at Canine Connection CO! Before we even hired her, Niamh spent at least 45 minutes on the phone with me identifying why my dog barks so much. We know he has anxiety, and she spent about 2 hours in person with us giving us positive strategies - never aversive ones - for helping him stop barking and start calming down his system. She is so gentle and kind.
In some situations, people have told us that our dog seems like a different dog since we put Niamh's interventions in place. He barks less, is more approachable, and allows other dogs to approach him. He's still on his journey, and Niamh has spent at least another 1/2 hour on the phone with us determining our next steps. Like any good behavior analyst, she identified that we might need to consider medical reasons for his issues, and she highly recommended that we see the vet before hiring her for another session. I appreciate her integrity about this - I can tell she cares for my dog's welfare. After we put the vet's strategies in place, we will definitely hire Niamh again to continue our dog's training.

Neeve did a great job and provided us with excellent training suggestions for several issues with our four dogs such as housebreaking, pulling on leash, rushing door when guests arrive, etc. My pups responded well to her instantly! She also followed up with some helpful training videos. Very pleased with her professionalism and care!

Niamh did a great job with our rescues. Their crazy excitability when guest came over had reached a point where we couldn’t stand it. We’d tried every thing we could think of.
Niamh instituted a training procedure that worked perfectly. A problem we’d had for 4 years was solved in 1/2 hr! She then went over other behavioral solutions. The best part, she recognized the trouble our one dog had with being calm and how anxious she was. Gave me a great understanding of what our Maggie was up against. I’ll be more patient.
