I love working with clients that are eager to make their house truly their own. I love design and think it is important to thoughtfully explore options when designing a new house or additions and modifications to existing houses as I see how it can improve one's daily life. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can work hourly or give a fixed fee once we've met with the potential client and understand the scope of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically meet with the potential client at the proposed project location, and go over the goals for the project and some ideas. We then send a written proposal for the project. We meet both in person and over the phone to go over design options during the design phase. We make recommendations for contractors and our idea of probably cost, if desired. We will prepare the construction documents, hire structural engineering, civil and mechanical and electrical engineers as needed to be a part of our design team. We provide permit ready drawings and can help through the entitlement process if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are two licensed architects, both with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a professional degree of Bachelor of Architecture.
We have over 25 years of experience with residential and commercial projects.
