Janna made the process effortless. We traveled from out of town on our way to a vacation. It was the perfect afternoon and start to our romantic trip. After posting what I wanted on Thumbtack, Janna immediately scheduled a time to talk me through all the options and then sent me the brochures and samples to decide on the photo shoot. Once we picked the package, then a quick questionnaire gave her all she needed to plan our amazing afternoon. We had a couples shoot and although we were both a little nervous, she made us so at ease. I nearly forgot I was standing around naked most of the afternoon. The results were amazing! I definitely recommend Janna.

Janna's services are pricey, but you'll have quality photos when working with her. Before your photo shoot day, you'll have a quality consultation session with her where you discuss what type of photos you're looking for. In my case, I was looking for acting headshots and ended up choosing the executive package. I also emailed her pictures of my wardrobe to get an idea of what to wear to the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, Janna made the session feel relaxed, fun, and professional. She'll have refreshments and snacks available so you won't starve. Even if you don't have much experience in front of the camera, Janna will give you clear directions on how you should pose and on your facial expression. I never felt rushed throughout the session even when I'm changing into different outfits. Moreover, a shout out to Jess Lynn Baligush for doing my makeup; it was not overly done and felt natural.
Upon reviewing the photos Janna shot, I was really impressed with what I saw. Janna has a keen eye for what makes a photo and she can definitely bring out your good side. I certainly had a tough time narrowing down my photo selection. I was a fan of the fact that Janna will sit with you to help you make your selection. The portfolio you buy can be expensive though just to note.
TLDNR: Janna's services are expensive, but you'll definitely get high quality photos with her in a conducive atmosphere.

Before even meeting Janna, I felt at ease with how available and helpful she was over the phone and email. At her studio everything was as she had explained, no surprises and she again made me feel very at home and at ease! Not only is Janna very professional and amazing at what she does, but she is a very down to earth, playful and humble person! I felt like I were with a few of my "girl friends" having a girls spa session the whole time. During my shoot Janna respected me and my comfort level which I really liked about her. I am beyond pleased with my session and photos with her and can't wait to work with her in the future!

Janna did an outstanding job and made my photo session very enjoyable. I wasn't sure how it would go since it was my first time at a photo studio. I was there for executive/professional photo shots but I also had a chance to try on a fancy dress for more laid back photo shots which was super fun! Janna, her assistant Melissa and her hairdresser and stylist in turn Jessica were all very professional. The photos came out to be amazing! I traveled from Ecuador to visit my kids and I'm happy I picked Janna for her photo services, highly recommended!
