Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We're a custom shop which means there are no limits to what you can have. Need a cabinet that's15 3/8" wide? Want a special design for that odd space? No problem. Also, our product is extraordinarily sturdy. Where others use 1/2" thick or even 1/4" thick material, we make every part from full 3/4" stock. Our cabinets are STRONG. I love the fact that I get to create something new every day. It's satisfying that urge to build that makes this job not feel like a job.

Tim converted a small room in our offices into a kitchenette for the staff. He custom designed the cabinetry in his computer for our approval, installed it perfectly into the space he had to work with for a wonderful finished product At the same time, he converted a double closet with sliding doors into a beautiful space with custom shelving and file drawers . . . a very difficult task in a small space. The room is now a counseling office and no-one would ever know the opening was formerly a closet. In addition, he has custom matched cabinet doors and drawer facings that needed to be replaced perfectly in instances where matching was almost impossible. We have been very satisfied with all of the work he has done for us.

I have contracted with Tim Kulin Cabinetry over the past eight years for many types of fine woodworking, trim installation, and cabinetry for my custom home building clients. Being a smaller company has allowed Tim Kulin Cabinetry to react quickly and put my clients needs at the top of their priorities when reaction time is critical to stay on schedule. Never a quibble about something that didn't go just perfect, Tim just took care of any needed corrections and moved on which I really appreciate and so does my customer. I will continue to recommend Tim and use his services in the future for my clients and hope they always retain their "quick to respond service and high quality!"

Hi Tim, Found your website and wanted to tell you how much my wife and I have loved the kitchen you designed for us. It's been a couple of years in-service for us and has made such a difference. It has really changed the "Flow" of our house and we get comments all the time about the layout and quality of our kitchen. Having a local cabinet maker was such a benefit when a problem came up during construction. One call to you, and within an hour an adjustment was made and we were back on track. We know, had we gone with a "Big Box" store, that quick adjustment could have delayed things for weeks. We are very proud of the work you did for us and wanted to say thank you again.

Tim has build cabinets for us on 3 separate occasions. We had him build cabinets for the kitchen, laundry room and family room. We are extremely happy with the quality of his work and installation. The kitchen can be seen on timkulincabinetry.com. It's kitchen 11.

I needed a small amount of replacement doors and I was worried that it'd be to small of a job, however Tim handled it without a problem. Everything came out nice and the customer was happy.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Fifty percent of our work is kitchens. The rest is evenly distributed between home theaters, baths, closets, etc.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone local. Buying from one of the national suppliers guarantees that any problems that crop up during installation will be promptly corrected...six weeks later. Local suppliers like us can often respond in a day or two if something changes on the job site.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The building trades have been stereotyped to some degree, and there is a fair amount of distrust. It's not as bad as being a used car salesman, but it's not a much fun as being, say, an Apple employee. The vast majority of us are normal, upstanding businessmen. For us personally, integrity is everything.
